"Because it's good for you" is my catch phrase, but it really says it all. I design group and individual workouts to help my clients feel strong and healthy from the inside out.
When you train at my facility, you are getting my personal attention. I am a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a certified boot camp instructor, and a certified TRX Suspension Training instructor. With over six years of experience, I will make sure you get the most out of every workout. I think fitness should be part of a whole-life approach, incorporating exercise, healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle, and that is my mission here.
I have always loved being active. I grew up at a lakeside community and swam, took sailing lessons, joined the waterskiing club, took gymnastics and dance, played golf and tennis, ran track and played soccer in high school--you name it, I did it! I taught group fitness classes in college and became a long distance runner while my kids were little. I incorporated strength training into my sessions while training for my second marathon and I realized that I loved all things exercise and wanted to become a personal trainer. I love my job! I love helping people become and stay active and fit for life. I love thinking up new programs that challenge people to get stronger and work out harder than they did at their last class or personal training session. I love seeing the transformation of a person over time as they get leaner and develop more muscle mass, and I love hearing someone say that they don’t have pain anymore in their lives because of the work we are doing together. And I still love being active and pushing my body to the limit, whether it be training for a Spartan race, playing soccer or doing an intense workout.
